Andhra Entrance Exams


Andhra Pradesh is one of the pioneering states of India in terms of education, especially higher education. Getting into your course of choice begins with an initial step of Entrance Examination.

The seats in Andhra universities and institutes of repute are coveted for talents from all corners of India. Naturally enough, entrance exams is the best solution towards providing equal opportunity in terms of merit.

Andhra Pradesh allows its own students to take part in all-India based entrance tests. Apart from that Andhra Pradesh also arranges some entrance exams that are specific to the state itself.

The advancement of computer technology and the business administration are coveted careers with increasing demand day by day. The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is organized by the state of Andhra Pradesh for admission to MBA and MCA courses in the state. The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education conducts this merit-based entrance exam.

State-level Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test or (EAMCET) is arranged in Andhra Pradesh for admission to first year medical, Engineering and Agricultural in all engineering and medical colleges affiliated to the University of Andhra, Kakatiya, Nagarjuna, Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural, JNTU, Osmania, Sri Krishnadevaraya , Sri Venkateswara and Regional Engineering College for Andhra Pradesh quota seats. EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

For the study of law, Law Common Entrance Test (LAWCET) is conducted under the aegis of APSCHE, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam-530 003, Andhra Pradesh. Most other professional courses offered in various institutes of Andhra Pradesh allow students only through merit-based entrance exams.
