Arunachal Pradesh Central Board of Secondary Education
Arunachal Pradesh Central Board of Secondary Education is one of the major boards of education in the north-eastern state of India. The origin of the Central Board of Secondary Education in Arunachal Pradesh can be traced back to the year 1921. In this year, the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Secondary Education was established. However, Central Board of Secondary Education started functioning by this name since 1952.
The Central Board of Secondary Education at Arunachal Pradesh regulates and controls the system of education imparted in the schools that are affiliated to it in Arunachal Pradesh. The Central Board of Secondary Education at Arunachal Pradesh is responsible for the syllabus that is to be followed in the CBSE schools of Arunachal Pradesh.
The Arunachal Pradesh Central Board of Secondary Education has two basic missions. The first one is to facilitate the education of the children of Central Government employees. Many Central Government jobs necessitates frequent transfer from one place to another. Due to such frequent change of place, the education of the children of these employees suffers. This board has been established to make the admission of such children easier. This effort has largely encouraged the people of Arunachal Pradesh to take up Central Government jobs.
The other aim of the Central Board of Secondary Education of Arunachal Pradesh is to work for the betterment of the educational situation in the state, so that all the children belonging to different strata of society get equally equipped with education. Therefore, the board has an important role to play in the progress of the state of Arunachal Pradesh as a whole.
