Arunachal Pradesh enjoys a beautiful location amid the foothills of the Shivalik range in North-eastern states of India. Snuggled between the lofty ranges of the Himalayas, the location of Arunachal Pradesh is the most desirable.
Previously, Arunachal Pradesh had been a part of the North Eastern Frontier Agency: it is only in 1987 that Arunachal Pradesh was declared as an autonomous state in the Indian Union. With the signing of the treaty of Yandaboo, Arunachal Pradesh was put, by the British Raj, under the territory of Assam: at that period, Arunachal Pradesh was located in the territory of Assam.
