Current government in Arunachal Pradesh is formed of 60 members of the state legislative councils, including 35 from the ruling party and the rest forming the opposition. The executive wing of the current government of Arunachal Pradesh is formed of nine ministers under the supervision of the chief minister. The executive assembly of Arunachal Pradesh is a key part of the current government at Arunachal Pradesh. It is formed of a council of ministers that has nine cabinet ministers apart from the chief minister of the state. Each minister is vested with the responsibility to oversee the function of more than one department. Together, the council of ministers of the current government in Arunachal Pradesh looks after a total of about 25 departments.
