Arunachal Pradesh projects were initiated by the state government in order to upgrade the facilities of the state in certain sectors of the state's governance. These projects of Arunachal Pradesh are part of the increasing thrust of the Central and the state governments towards a rising privatization of certain amenities of the state. Of all the public service sectors in the state, health is of paramount importance and occupies a key position in the list of priorities for the government of the state. The Public Private Partnership Project for the improvement of the Health Delivery System is one such instance of Arunachal Pradesh projects.
Public Private Partnership Project (PPPP) Arunachal Pradesh
The Public Private Partnership Project (PPPP) is one of the key projects in Arunachal Pradesh taken by the government of the state to enhance the health delivery system of the state. Arunachal Pradesh is the largest state in the North Eastern region. Its hilly and rough terrain make quite a few areas absolutely unapproachable. Therefore health delivery system did suffer a lot. The government is committed towards changing the situation for the better. The Public Private Partnership Project, as the very name suggests, will be a joint activity of the government at tandem with a private organization committee towards health delivery in the various areas of the state. The terms will be laid down by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on the part of the company with the government. The financing of this major project among the projects at Arunachal Pradesh will be partially recovered from the direct beneficiaries who are the end recipients of this facility, namely the villagers in the rural areas of the state. But since the rural economic conditions are by and large poor, the central government and the state government will have to finance a major portion of the expenses. The company operating in this Arunachal Pradesh project will be selected through a newspaper advertisement. Last Updated on 03 January 2011
