The north eastern states of India including Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur and Arunachal Pradesh have their own distinct cultures and life styles. When the rest of the country is trying to cope up with the modernization of the world outside, these states have a world of their own. They are more keen in reviving the Indian cultural heritage of the golden ages. Archery in Arunachal Pradesh is one such ancient sport in India which has lost its past glory.
The popularity of archery in Arunachal Pradesh has also been included in the festivals of the locals.
