Basically two things has made Arunachal Pradesh the destination of tourists from all over the world. Firstly, it is a mountainous land with lush green vegetation and scenic views and secondly, the terrain of the state challenges the adventure-maniacs. Arunachal Pradesh has been the seat of adventure sports like trekking, river rafting, boating. Boating in Arunachal Pradesh is accentuated by the fact that the state is blessed with a number of rivers like Bramhaputra, Lohit, Kameng, Siang, Subansiri, Tirap and many more.
- Ganga Lake: Covering about 67,500 m, this ovuculate-triangular shaped lake is amongst the rugged hill, provides a perfect setting for boating in the western part of Itanagar.
- Sally Lake: Overlooking a beautiful valley, the clear water with variety of marine life makes boating a wonderful experience.
- Pasighat: 60 km from Pasighat, Siom river is also a favorite spot for boating.
