Malinithan


Arunachal Pradesh is not only marked for the scenic beauty of its hills, waterfalls and lush green valleys, it is also known for its pilgrimage centers and thus attracts devotees throughout the year. It is said that while Lord Krishna along with his wife Rukminidevi went to Devi Parvati for her blessings, Devi Parvati welcomed both of them with garlands. According to the Hindu mythology, Sri Krishna called Devi Parvati by the name of Sucharu Malini from which the name Malinithan is said to have come into existence.
