The Assam State Commissions aid the government in the governance of the state of Assam. They are statutory bodies that work ensuring the welfare of the citizens of the state of Assam. There are various state commissions in the state of Assam.

The government of Assam desires to set up the state information commission that will be led by the State Chief Information Commissioner and will comprise of ten more state commissioners.
