The State Constituencies of Assam is a perfect mix of the parliamentary constituencies and the assembly constituencies that ward in conjunction to aid the state's governance. Assam has bagged 14 seats in the Lok Sabha that are represented by the elected members from its parliamentary constituencies. The party that gets the majority of the total votes amongst all the assembly constituencies is invited to form the government and spearhead the administration for a span of 5 years before the next elections are held.
