Asomiya Pratidin

The Asomiya Pratidin is a Guwahati based Assamese Newspaper, which has proved its popularity in the state with a huge circulation. In fact, the Asomiya Pratidin is the highest selling newspaper in the state. Apart from the daily newspaper, the Asomiya Pratidin of Assam publishes the 'Sadin'. The Asomiya Pratidin Publications also gift the readers of the state with an e-newspaper called Pratidin. The Pratidin has enabled to expand the horizon of on-line readership in the state. The Sadin is a weekly newspaper while Pratidin is a daily one.

The management of the Asomiya Pratidin has taken necessary steps to keep up the rise in circulation. They are trying their level best to upgrade the technological aspects and the installation of the CTPOSY technology in their Jorhat office is a step forward to that. This technology will increase productivity but at the same time it will be cost effective.

The Asomiya Pratidin was established in 1994 and Parag Das was the executive editor of the daily at that time. Mr. Haridar Hussain is the present editor of the Asomiya Pratidin while Anuradha Sharma Pujari is the editor of Sadin.
