Measures like monitoring the moves of the participating candidates through micro observers, Videography of the election process and preventing candidates from appealing to voters on the communal basis will go a long way in making elections in Manipur a success. Disagreements from the Maoists Party on the elections in Manipur is a matter threatening peaceful completion of the election process but the government maintains that it will be taken care of without any hostility.
