Bihar Parliamentary Constituencies

The Bihar Parliamentary Constituencies are the divisions of the entire state for the sake of the election of the Members of the Parliament. The total number of the Parliamentary Constituencies in Bihar is 40. Each of this division has an alloted seat for the membership to the Parliament of India.

The main reason behind the foundation of such Parliamentary Constituencies of Bihar is to make it easier for the Election Commission to successfully carry out the process of voting in the state without any hazard. Otherwise it would not have been possible for the Commission to carry out such a responsible job in a vast country like India.

Each of the Bihar Parliamentary Constituencies is supposed to elect one Member of the Parliament. The elecion is for the Lok Sabha. Several political parties contest for each of the posts and the casting of the votes by the individual citizens of the state determines that who will go to the Lok Sabha as their representative.
