Geography of Bundi



Bundi in Rajasthan is popular for its exclusive forts and palaces. Located at a distance of 36 kilometers from Kota and 206 kilometer from Jaipur, Bundi has developed as a popular tourist destination in the state.

Geography of Bundi is marked by the Aravalli Range. The city is surrounded on three sides by this mountain range. The geographical coordinates of Bundi are 25°26'30" north latitude and 75°38'30" east longitude. The city is located at an elevation of 268 meters above sea level.

The climate of Bundi is marked by warm and dry summers and chilly winters. The average temperature of the city in summer ranges between 35°C and 43°C, while in the winters the temperatures drops down to almost 5°C. Rainfall is scarce and amounts to about 75 centimeters annually. The best season to visit this beautiful city in Rajasthan is between August and February.
