The National Conference on Geo technical and Structural Aspects of Earthquake Engineering, starting from 4th August 2007 to 5th August 2007, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, aims at bringing the professionals together who are committed to reduce the effect of earthquake on our planet. The new scientific and technological developments in the field are to be presented in the seminars, put forward by the eminent scholars and researchers.
Organized by Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India, the conference gives various companies, the opportunity to present their latest technologies and products that would help to resist the frequent earthquakes and its effects. The various commercial and industrial units share their views and suggestions about the constructions of earthquake resistant structures. A large number of participants from various government and non- government institutions and academic institutions are likely to participate.
Seismic analysis and design of structures, technologies to capture the response of underground structures, seismic hazard and mitigation are the other sectors that are to be discussed in the National Conference on Geo technical and Structural Aspects of Earthquake Engineering 2007.
The deadline for sending the proposals and abstracts had been 15th May 2007. The papers should be submitted in the MS Word format.
