Chhattisgarh Universities

The most important universities of Chhattisgarh are Guru Ghasidas University, Indira Kala Sangeet University, Pandit Sundarlal Sharma (open) University, Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University and Hidayatullah National Law University.

Guru Ghasidas University of Bilaspur is a member of the Association of the Indian Universities. It was established in the year of 1983. This state university is funded by grants from the UGC. Dr. R.K. Singh is the vice- chancellor of this university in Chhattisgarh.

The Indira Kala Sangeet University was established in the year 1956. it is located in Kairagarh of Chhattisgarh. Dr Indrani Chakravarti is the vice- chancellor here.

Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University is located in the city of Raipur. It was established in the year of 1964.

Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University is situated in North Park Avenue, sector-8 , Bhilai. It is a state university but is not funded by the UGC.

The Chhattisgarh Universities have a very good infrastructure. There are some of the most qualified and efficient faculty members here. They take good care of Chhattisgarh education.
