Hotel Panjim Inn, Goa

The Hotel Panjim Inn, Goa has been designated as the first Heritage Hotel of Goa by the Hotel and Restaurant Approval and Classification Committee. Goa dates back to the times of Vasco da Gama, the legendary Portuguese sailor who found out the route to India around the Cape of Good Hope, Africa. It has been rightly designated as the Rome of the East, a meeting point of the Eastern and Western civilizations.

The Panjim Inn, Goa, is located in Fontaihas, the only Latin Quarter of Asia. It is replete with its Roman architecture, Greek porticoes and stately mansions. The Panjim Inn itself was a mansion, renovated to form the hotel.

There are several rooms in the Panjim Inn which present an old world charm. The large windows, the Greek architecture and the well carpeted walls present a feel of the times gone by.
