Congress President and Narendra Modi both are on tour of Chattisgarh. While addressing the rally, Sonia Gandhi stated that Raman Singh government did little for addressing the situation of terrorism in the state when the Maoists hit a Congress convoy in Bastar. She also said that the people from the state had to migrate to other states as not much was being done in the field of development. She also asked the people to vote for Congress which believed in uniting people and doing good for the poor in the society.
On the other hand Narendra Modi hit at Nitish Kumar. He indirectly hinted at him as an arrogant minister who cared less for the security of the people in times of crisis and compared him to Raman Singh who was sensitive towards the protection of his people when Maoists carried an attack. Rahul Gandhi was also not spared and was termed a shehzada and the UPA government was termed as Delhi Sultanate.
Before the two rallies were held the security agencies discovered 3 powerful IEDs in Bastar’s Sukma and Narayanpur districts which were defused by them.

As per the World Billionaire Census 2013 billionaires in India form the 6th largest group in the world. In India the trend which is totally unique from that found elsewhere in the world is the fact that the Indian billionaires stay rooted to their home ground. That is their primary business is always in the home city. 95% of the billionaires here are based in the place where they have grown up. This is totally reverse in case of world where only 23% of the billionaires are there in their home city or have the primary business there. Indian billionaires don’t have exclusive educational qualifications and some even have not completed college education. Here in the country there are in all 103 billionaires and there has been a slump of 5.5% in this category population and there has been a dip in the total billionaire wealth by $10 billion since last year. Mumbai figures among the top 5 billionaire cities in the world and is the only Indian city in the top 10. Only 3% of the billionaire are women.
Srishti Rana, named Miss Asia Pacific World 2013 had returned home with joy in her heart, but a shock of different kind was waiting for her. When she came to the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, after being adjudged the winner at the beauty contest at Busan, South Korea, she was detained by the custom officials. The reason was she had a jewel studded crown with her without the requisite clearance for it. As per the Indian law, even a crown which has been won at the beauty pageant attracts customs duty. The custom officials asked Shristi to pay the duty and for that valuation was done of the crown. Now comes the interesting part which is it was found that the gems in the crown were actually glass, and it was a fake crown. Srishti left without paying any duty but she must not have been happy with this development.
