Security Forces Killed Two Militants in Padgampora, Encounter Underway
As per reports, more than 19.85 lakh students are appearing for class 10 and class 12 exams today. Reports also say that the total number of students registered for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams for class 10 and class 12 is 19, 85, 397.
Chennai has the highest number of students appearing for the Class 10 board exams, while Delhi tops the list of students appearing for Class 12 board exams.
The highest number of exam centres for both the classes are in Panchkula.
As per reports, two terrorists were killed by security forces in an encounter in Padgampora, Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir. One of the terrorists has been identified as Mohammed Shafi Shergujari, an LeT operative.
Three to four militants are hiding in a house. The encounter is underway.
Train services from Banihal to Srinagar have been suspended as one of the railway stations is located near the encounter site.
Reports say that there was a small conflict between the locals and the security forces as one of the terrorists killed was reportedly a local youth. A 15-year-old boy lost his life during the clash.
