India's realtors, who experienced low business last year, are hopeful for better market sentiments this year. They are also relying on important legislation that the government will introduce in next month's budget session of parliament that would prove important for the sector's growth. The next two months are very crucial for the realty sector. The centre may table the Real Estate Regulation Bill in the budget session to set up a watchdog for the sector for initiating accountability norms and fair practices. The draft legislation of the bill has been there since 2009. The new Land Acquisition Bill was not passed in the winter session (Nov-Dec 2012) and was postponed till the budget session by the Lok Sabha as many parties asked for more time to discuss the steps of the contentious measure. NASA scientists has said there is no possibility of asteroid Apophis hitting the earth in 2036, based on information received by its telescopes in 2011 and 2012 and other recent data. Data which were received while searching for an old astronomical images gave additional information which did away the 2029 impact scenario, but a remote possibility of that in 2036 still lingered as per NASA statement. The asteroid which is the size of a three-and-a-half soccer fields when it was discovered in 2004, - grabbed the immediate attention of space scientists and then the preliminary calculations of its orbit implied that there was a 2.7 percent possibility of an earth impact during a close encounter in 2029. Don Yeomans, manager of NASA's Near-Earth Object Program Office at the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, California stated that the odds as they are now are less than one in a million that is why an earth impact in 2036 can be effectively ruled out. Though on April 13, 2036, a flyby of Apophis will comes nearer than 31,300 km to the earth's surface making it the closest flyby of an asteroid of its size.
