The Centre will be giving the AAP some more time to delve in the possibilities of forming government in Delhi. Here after elections political uncertainty lingers when none of the parties said they would form the government. Home minister Sushilkumar Shinde has inquired about the time needed by AAP from the Lieutenant Governor. This implies there is no hurry in imposition of the President’s rule in Delhi. AAP has sought for public opinion and had asked them to send their views through SMS, calls and posting messages on the party’s Facebook page. Congress with its 8 members has said it will offer outside support to AAP and had also stated that out of 18 conditions set by AAP 16 required administrative decisions and only 2 required their support which they would provide. BJP on the other hand had raised their 14 conditions in reply to the 18 issues raised by AAP. BJP has also alleged that AAP is the B team of the Congress. Lt. Governor has already recommended the imposition of President’s rule in Delhi.
Delhi and Chhattisgarh units of the Congress got their new party chiefs as Sonia Gandhi the Congress chief appointed Arvinder Singh Lovely and Bhupesh Baghel to hold the positions in Delhi and Chhattisgarh, respectively. This development comes after the recent debacle of the Congress in the Assembly polls in the four states. The appointments have been done with immediate effect. J.P. Agarwal the former party chief unit in Delhi tendered his resignation when there was complaint against him by 8 MLAs to Rahul Gandhi the Congress Vice President. A British man has won claim to sue Taj Mahal Palace Hotel owners in a British court of law. He was paralyzed in the 26/11 attacks in 2008. Indian Hotel Company Limited, the Tata Group company had contested that negligence claim of Will Pike should be heard in the courts here. The court in Britain agreed to Pike’s claim that it will be years when his case will be taken up in Indian courts. It was also stated that till the time the case will be completed it would be a span of 20 years. The Indian Hotel Company can appeal against the ruling and the case will be shifted to the Court of Appeal for deciding finally on the case. Pike was relieved that his case will be heard in Britain as in India according to him it would not have happened.
India has better preparations now to face Federal Reserve tapering than even it was in May 2013. This was specified by Finance Minister P. Chidambaram. The effect of the apprehension of reduction is stimulus had an impact on the markets where the rupee’s value dipped slightly by 0.1% and stood at 62.19 against the dollar. Mars Orbiter is now positioned now 60 lakh kilometers away from Earth. It has consumed 55% of the 850 kilograms fuel it has onboard. Till now it has spent 470 kilogram of the bio-propellant. ISRO’s senior scientist has stated that there was no overspending and it was well within the limits. There were five scheduled burns but the orbiter had to conduct six burns before the Trans-Mars Injection phase. It was also specified that the fuel again will be consumed in the Trajectory Correction Maneuvers in April and August 2014. On September 2014, 200 kg of fuel will be burnt in 28 minutes when the Mars Orbit Injection phase will be done. The most crucial part of the mission as informed by ISRO was when 190 kg of fuel was consumed on Tran-Mars Injection phase on December 1.
