Kejriwal criticizes Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi in Varanasi

Arvind Kejriwal came down heavily on Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi in Varanasi as per the media reports. He was there in the city to file his nomination paper. He stated that people should think from where both the BJP and the Congress were getting money to campaign on a large scale.

Common man can report malpractices to EC through Android app

 

Election Commission has come up with an Android app through which the common man can report any inflammatory speech being given or distribution of cash and liquor being done for luring the voters. As per media reports the app pinpoints the location, time, date and coordinates to ascertain the authenticity of the video uploaded.

Drugs and country liquor worth Rs 731 crore seized in Punjab

Drugs costing Rs.731 crore as well as country liquor that amounts to 7.5 lakh liters have been confiscated in Punjab. It was a result of the operation which has been carried out as the state goes to poll on April 30. The model code of conduct has been effective here since March 5.

Maruti Suzuki slips to 3rd position in car exports, Nissan takes its place

 

According to media reports Maruti Suzuki has to give its second position in car exports to Nissan Motors India. It has to be noted here that Hyundai Motors snatched its number one position 10 years back. Nissan exported 1.16 lakh cars while Maruti accounted for 1.01 lakh cars. Nissan’s Micra and Sunny Sedan have been popular in overseas markets.

Lowest Putting Average award goes to Jeev Milkha Singh

 

According to the media reports, the veteran golf player of the country, Jeev Milkha Singh was awarded with the Lowest Putting Average award at the 2013 Asian Tour Awards Night. He was also nominated for the Player of the Decade award but was not able to bag that and it went to Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand

48 millions WhatsApp users in India

WhatsApp has crossed a total of 700 million users this month as per media reports and what is interesting enough is the fact that India alone accounts for 48 million users. Keeping this in mind the company is in talk with various service providers so that unlimited usage of WhatsApp may be possible for a nominal amount per month for users here.
