If you prefer a more regal experience and don't mind going a bit further then you can try Rajasthan, with its beautiful palaces and majestic forts and fascinating wildlife. Interesting places to explore in Rajasthan are Jaipur, Udiapur, Jodhpur and Alwar. For wildlife and nature lovers, the places to explore are Sariska and Ranthambhore wildlife sanctuaries.
