Delhi Haat

Delhi Haat, popularly known as Dilli Haat, is situated at the Shri Aurobindo Marg. Covering a total area of six acres Delhi Haat showcases the rich variations of handicraft items of all corners of India. From beads, gems, woolen and silk fabrics and brass ware to camel hide shoes, sandalwood carvings, metal crafts and drapery all types of exquisite articles are available in the Delhi Haat.

One of the appealing traits of Delhi Haat is the paved path of the market built with brick and stone. The grass patches on the clean path of this market place makes it one of the most favorite Delhi shopping centers.

Being developed by the Delhi Tourism and Transport Corporation Delhi Haat houses around 62 shopping stalls along with food corners. What makes the Delhi Haat quite different from other bustling markets of the city is its mobile craftsmen who keep on changing.

The various craftsmen coming from different parts of the country bring with them a storehouse of vibrant handicrafts that are otherwise unavailable in regular markets. Visitors coming to Delhi Haat often get mesmerized by the range of items exhibited by the crafts person of different Indian states.

The prices of each of the handicrafts item is quite reasonable and this helps in making Delhi Haat an inevitable shopping location of India.
