Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi


Bharatiya Janata Party in Delhi is one of the national political parties, which forms an integral part of the political scene of Delhi.

This party was established in the year 1980. Its political ideologies are based on Hindutva and Integral Humanism. The head-quarter of Bharatiya Janata Party is situated in the capital city of India at 11, Ashoka Road, New Delhi 110 001.

Bharatiya Janata Party is the most important opposition party of the Delhi State Assembly. Besides, the BJP led National Democratic Alliance is the opposition party at the national level.

The BJP Delhi State President is Dr. Harsh Vardhan. Prof. Vijay Kumar Malhotra of Bharatiya Janata Party is also a Member of Legislative Assembly, elected from Southern Delhi.

In the New Delhi civic polls held in 2007 the Bharatiya Janata party has recorded a landslide victory over the other parties.
