Nikhil Kumar

Shri Nikhil Kumar was born on 15th July, 1941 in Hajipur District in Vaishali, Bihar. His father's name was Shri Satyendra Narayan Sinha and his mother's name was Smt. Shyama Singh. An active member of the INC party or the Indian National Congress, he is also the member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. Representing the constituency of Aurangabad in Bihar, he is presently undergoing his first term of service in the Lok Sabha.

Political career of Nikhil Kumar

Laced with a masters degree in Modern History from Allahabad University in Uttar Pradesh, he began his career as the Commissioner of Police, Delhi. He served office in this post from 1995 to 1997, until he became the Director General of ITBP in the year 1997. He is presently associated with the Mazdoor Kisan Samanvaya Samiti since 2003.
