Priyanka Gandhi was born in Delhi on 12th January, 1972. A political figure in her youths, she is the true repository of leaders from the future generation, with her vibrant and multi-faceted persona. Hailing from a political lineage, Priyanka Gandhi is the daughter of the late former Prime Minister of India-Rajiv Gandhi and the present President of the Indian National Congress party-Sonia Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi is also the leader of the United Progressive Alliance or the UPA. Her grandmother, Indira Gandhi, was the first woman Prime Minister of the country and her great-grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru was the first Prime Minister of India.
A former student of Modern School and Convent of Jesus and Mary in New Delhi, Priyanka Gandhi has a diversified academic career. She graduated in psychology from Delhi University. Married to Robert Vadra, she is a mother of two-Raihan and Miraya. The political life of Priyanka Gandhi is characterized by equivocalness, especially when she is a frequent political campaigner in Uttar Pradesh and constituencies like Rae Bareilly and Amethi.
According to her, politics is all about serving the people, whether it is serving from within it or from outside doesn't really matter. Priyanka Gandhi at this juncture decided to work towards public welfare staying out of what is called the main stream politics. Considered to be the 'daughter of the people', she is popular among the mass and an inspiration for budding leaders who aspire for a change in the society. A mother and a representative of the mass, Priyanka Gandhi's chief foray lies in her level-headed management between the two roles.
