Lodhi Garden – This is one of the important gardens in Delhi, which was built by the Sayyids and Lodis during the 15th and 16th centuries. Today, this garden is one of the chief attractions of Delhi. It remains swarmed with visitors, joggers and young couples. Beautiful tombs such as Sikander Lodi's tomb and Muhammad Shah's Tomb and the Bada Gumbad and Sheesh Gumbad make it worth visiting this garden.
Mughal Garden – The Mughal Garden of Delhi is situated in the premises of Rashtrapati Bhavan and covers an area of about 320 acres. This garden built and styled by Sir Edwin Lutyens. There are Long garden, Circular Garden and Rectangular Garden.
Garden of Five Senses – This important and beautiful garden of Delhi is situated in Said-Ul-Azaib village. This park has been specifically designed with the motive that all the five senses of human being may be stimulated by its features and gorgeousness. There is a park in Khas Bagh, Neel Bagh, the Court of Specimen Plants and also a Solar Energy Park in Garden of Five Senses.
National Zoological Park – This was established in 1959 and is located near the Purana Qila. National Zoological Park of Delhi is spread over an area of 214 areas and is believed to be one of the best Asian zoos.
Nehru Park – This popular park of Delhi is located over an area of about 85 acres. Nehru Park which is situated in Chanakyapuri is famous for its greenery. There is also a swimming pool in this park.
Some of the other popular Delhi Gardens & Parks are Shalimar Garden, Buddha Jayanti Park and Deer Park.
