Overview/History

The second edition of India Art Festival will be hosted at the business district of Bandra Kurla Complex on MMRDA grounds. The art festival is organized on a mega scale will high quality of art. The festival will have 150 booths along with separate video lounge, an auditorium for speakers' forum, media stalls and a food court. These entire things will be spread over an area of more than 15,000 sq. meters. The IAF 2012 will have a vast outdoor sculpture park along with plenty parking space for vehicles.

The first edition of India Art Festival took place in November 2011 at Nehru Centre, Mumbai. It brought together 45 art galleries and 600 professional artists from 24 cities in 4 countries. More than 26,000 people visited the festival during the four days. It became the first art fair in western & southern India to receive the highest number of visitors in four days.

Celebration

The India Art Festival highlights of participation from art galleries and from various individual artists in India and abroad. Stalls and booths will exhibit the art of these artists. There will be a speakers' forum and media stalls will be also arranged to promote the art through print, outdoor and electronic media. People can also buy art at this fair.

28th November 2012:

5 pm to 8 pm - IAF VIP Preview (By Invitation)
8.30 pm to 10.30 pm - Cocktails & Inaugural Dinner (By Invitation)

29th November 2012:
11 am to 8 pm - IAF Open for Public
2 pm to 7 pm - Speakers' Forum
6pm to 8 pm - Art Festival Fortnight tour (Visit to art spaces in the city)

30th November 2012:
11 am to 8 pm - IAF Open for Public
2 pm to 7 pm - Speakers' Forum
6pm to 8 pm - Art Festival Fortnight tour (Visit to art spaces in the city)

1st December 2012:
11 am to 8 pm - IAF Open for Public
2 pm to 7 pm - Speakers' Forum
6pm to 8 pm - Art Festival Fortnight tour (Visit to art spaces in the city)

2nd December 2012:
11 am to 7 pm (Last entry at 6pm) - IAF Open for Public
2 pm to 7 pm - Speakers' Forum
7 pm - Closing of the festival
