Ghaziabad Festivals bring lot of entertainment and joy with them. Throughout the year, numerous festivals take place in this prosperous Indian city. Some of the most-celebrated and enjoyed festivals of Ghaziabad include the following:

    On the other hand, Janamastmi is celebrated on the 8th day of Bhadra and in order to commemorate Lord Krishna's birthday. In this day also people fast. Usually with the eating of prasad, the devotees break their fast.

    Added to this, the residents of Ghaziabad also celebrate Dipavali, which is basically a festival of lights. In this particular day the Ghaziabad people decorates their houses with beautifully designed candles.

    Shivratri is another major festivals of Ghaziabad. It is held to commemorate Lord Shiva's birthday. It is celebrated on the 13th day of Phalguna. In this day Lord Shiva's temples are decorated and people dedicate flowers and water to the deity.
