Gujarat Government

Gujarat Government is known for its consistency throughout its history. The Gujarat Government which is presided by Mr. Narendra Modi, is a constituent whole of different departments that is maintained for the sake of the efficient working of the government.

Some of the important departments of the Gujarat Government are:
  • Governor
  • Chief Minister
  • Council of Ministers
  • MLAs
  • Collectorate
  • Secretariat
  • District Development Officer
  • Circuit House
  • Boards and Corporations, etc.
The departments under the Gujarat Government work unanimously so that a stability is maintained in the working pattern of the government.

The Gujarat Governor holds the highest position under the Gujarat Government. The Constitution of India confirms that the Gujarat Governor is the executive head of the State, who has the power to appoint or terminate even the candidature of the Chief Minister at his discretion.

But the real head of the Gujarat Government is the Gujarat Chief Minister; and it is only on his advice that the Gujarat Governor can execute his executive and legislative powers.

In the Gujarat Government, we also find the provision of the 'Coalition Government' which facilitates the candidate to merge with other parties in order to seek the majority vote.

The other offices of power are as vital as the posts of the Chief Minister or the Gujarat Governor, because without the help of these departments the Gujarat Government will be rendered useless: the Governor or the Chief Minister does not interact with the common masses, but these departments get the privilege to talk with the bourgeois, and thus they know the real picture.
