'Prithviraj ki Kutchery' is a place of interest in the Bhiwani district of Haryana. The place is popularly known as Baradari. It is in this kutchery that the renowned Prithviraj Chauhan held a Durbar or court. He was the last Hindu king to sit upon the throne of Delhi in the later half of the 12th century. The word 'kutchery' is the Hindi word for court from which the place got its name. It served as the venue for discussing issues and problems with the king, Prithviraj Chauhan. The Kutchery is situated by a tributary of the river Ganga in the lap of the Aravalli range. The town was also selected by the British in 1817 AD as a free-market site.
