About Himachal Pradesh Education
Being directly ruled by the British during their rule in India as well as being the country's summer capital in the earlier days, this state of the Republic of India is said to be quite advanced in terms of education. As per the report published post completion of the Census 2011, the average rate of literacy of the state of Himachal Pradesh was 83.78 %, which was among the higher literacy rates in the nation.
