Travel to Jabalpur

Tourists willing to travel to Jabalpur can visit the city between October and March. Nestled in the 'Mahakaushal' region in the central part of India, Jabalpur is known for its pictorial beauty and tranquility. Every year thousands of tourists come to the territory to enjoy the serenity of nature at this site. The beautiful rivers, hills and plateau of Jabalpur have made it one of the most popular destinations in Madhya Pradesh.

The railway station of Jabalpur is located in the northern part of the Civil Lines area. It is connected with direct trains to Varanasi and Satna, which are situated at a distance of 505 kilometers and 189 kilometers respectively from the city. Bhopal, located about 336 kilometers from the city, is also connected to Jabalpur with direct trains. It takes seven and half hours to reach Bhopal from Jabalpur by rail.

Jabalpur is connected to the different towns and cities of India with an excellent network of roadways. The main bus stand of Jabalpur is situated in the western part of Napier town near the Indian Coffee House. It provides a number of bus services that connect the city with Satna, Indore, Nagpur and Raipur.
