The well maintained roads and highways in and around Jaisalmer is well served with petrol pumps, garages and eateries at frequent intervals. The road transportation in Jaisalmer has grown with importance due to its proximity with the Indo – Pak border.
Buses, auto-rickshaws, taxis and other vehicles ply in the roads of Jaisalmer. The two chief bus stands of the city are the Golden Bus Terminal and the bus stand near the Jaisalmer Railway Station.
