Jammu and Kashmir is divided into 87 assembly Constituencies. From these assembly Constituencies, voters elect the members of the state legislative assembly. Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Constituencies represent the maximum number of the people in the state.
The capital city of Srinagar is divided into 15 assembly constituencies namely Srinagar, Gandarbal, Idgah, Kangan, Hazratbal, Zadibal, Amirakadal, Chadoora, Khanyar, Habbakadal, Sonawar, Beerwah Batmaloo, Badgam, Chrari-Sharif and Khansahib.
The parliamentary constituency Baramulla comprises of the Assembly Constituencies of Handwara, Karnah, Sangrama, Lolab, Kupwara, Bandipora, Langate, Uri, Rafiabad, Sopore, Gurez, Baramulla, Sonawari, Gulmarg and Pattan
Srinagar parliamentary constituency consists of Kangan, Idgah, Batmaloo, Amirakadal, Gandarbal, Hazratbal, Zadibal, Sonawar, Khanyar, Habbakadal, Badgam, Chrari-Sharif, Chadoora, Beerwah and Khansahib.
The parliamentary constituency Anantnag constitutes Pulwama, Kulgam, Noorabad, Homshalibug Anantnag, Shopian, Shangas, Doru, Pampore, Devsar, Kokarnag, Bijbehara, Pahalgam, Rajpora, Tral, Pulwama and Wachi.
The parliamentary constituency of Ladakh consists of Nobra, Zanskar, Leh, and Kargil.
Udhampur parliamentary constituency is divided into the assembly constituencies of Chenani, Gulabgarh, Reasi, Doda, Gool-Arnas, Kishtwar, Banihal, Udhampur, Ramnagar, Inderwal, Bhadarwah, Ramban, Kathua, Hiranagar, Bani, Basohli, and Billawar.
Jammu is an important Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Constituencies comprising of Gandhinagar, Samba, Bishnah, Raipur Domana, Jammu East, Suchetgarh, Vijaypur, Nagrota, Jammu West, R S Pura, Marh, Akhnoor, Kalakot, Chhamb, Nowshehra, Darhal, Rajouri, Poonch-Haveli, Surankote and Mendhar.
