The members of Jammu & Kashmir Cabinet Minsters are all veteran politicians who have served some important posts in the state level assembly at some or other phase of time. From the honorable speaker of Jammu & Kashmir to other equally prestigious ministers, all form a strong platform in the state that helps in taking the valley to new heights of success.
Shree M A Lone, the honorable Deputy Speaker of Jammu & Kashmir completed his law graduation and joined the politics of the state in a very early age. Before being selected for his present post by the election of 2002, Shree Lone contested many times, sometimes as a People's Conference candidate and sometimes as a Janata Party aspirant.
Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma who has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir eneterd into the political arena of the state in the year 1957. in the year 1961 he was included as a memebre of the Legislative Council of the valley. In the years of 1972, 1977, 1983, 10984 and 1987, shree Sharma remained an important part of the state's assembly. He had been elected as in the Lok Sabha in 1996.
