The picturesque state of Jammu and Kashmir has been noted for political turmoil since time immemorial. A constant bone of discontent between India and Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir abounds in several state parties out of which the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party deserves special mention.
India and Pakistan are a constant loggerheads with each regarding the possession of Kashmir. While India considers Kashmir to be a part of its territory, the Kashmiri's firmly abnegate the claim. Pakistan, on the other hand has taken the responsibility adding to the chaos by establishing claim on the same. This has resulted in tremendous political disputes and militancy attacks in the state that resulted in wanton bloodshed and several lives too were sacrificed. In order to stabilize the political disharmony, several state parties like the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party have sprung up and try desperately to quell the violent fires of hatred .
