General Administration Department of Jammu & Kashmir is believed to be the heart of the entire governance process of the valley as this one covers all major and minor affairs of the numerous government-run sections.
Dealing with land reforms, demarcation and settlement issues, the Land Records department of Jammu is administered by the government of the state.
