Amidst the continued violence and militancy, the Jammu and Kashmir Election portrays the unlimited enthusiasm and zeal of the local inhabitants of the state to lead a normal and healthy life. A strong indication of the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir to return to their ordinary and regular life styles, the Jammu and Kashmir elections are held under the strict supervision of the Chief Election Commission in conjunction with other government organizations.

The Chief Election Commission had taken several steps to ensure free and fair polls. Majority of the population of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the election procedure and had cast their votes according to their own choice. During general elections of the state, the Civil Servants are assigned with special duties to ensure transparency in the election procedure.

The elections of Jammu and Kashmir are supervised and administered by members of the United Nations. The local inhabitants of Jammu and Kashmir had visited the polls from far off districts in the hope of leading a healthy and normal life.

The results of fair and free elections led to the formation of a coalition government. The coalition government of several regional and national parties promised to the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir a normal and ordinary life without any violence.

The Jammu and Kashmir election of the state showed the abhorrence of the local inhabitants towards intense violence and destruction of life and property. The return to normalcy was officially appreciated by the governments of other countries as well. The political parties promised to deliver the best and restore peace in the enchanting valleys of Jammu and Kashmir.
