Bandipore

This fresh water lake is one of the favorite tourist spots in Jammu and Kashmir.

Bandipore town, apart from being a heritage spot in Jammu and Kashmir, it is also known for making of hand woven blankets. From the locational view, this town is important as it is situated near Tragbal Pass.

The town of Bandipore is often visited by the local people as well as by tourists from other parts of India. From the town of Bandipore, places like Gilgit and Gurez can be reached by availing the roadway connecting these places. In Bandipore, a park is built. The design of the park resembles Nishat Bagh.
