Ramnagar National Park


The mystic terrains of Jammu and Kashmir, with a picturesque landscape dominated by hills draped in pearly white snow are noted for its diverse natural heritage that is concealed behind the dense enclaves of the various wildlife sanctuaries. Ramnagar National Park adds another feather to Jammu and Kashmir's already brimming cap with its lush foliage and variegated wildlife.

Sited at a stone's throw distance of 6 km from the bustling Jammu city, Ramnagar National Park is the perfect retreat where tourists can spend a long and indolent day exploring nature and snatching occasional glimpses of the animals in their natural habitat. The moderately sized sanctuary that spasm across an expanse of approximately 31.50 sq. km is famed for sheltering several species of mammals that include the Rhesus Monkey, Wild Boar, Nilgai and Barking Deer.

Ramnagar National Park is accessible from Jammu airport as well as Jammu railway station that are located close by at a distance of 8 km and 6 km, respectively.
