Sheikh-ul-Alam, Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani. At this time Baba Latif-ud-Din Qazi was another disciple of Alamdar-e-Kashmir. As per the belief Sham Ded broke the news about the passing away of Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani to Baba Latif-ud-Din. Since she broke the news of the demise of Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani to the Baba during the evening, as a result she derived the name Sham Ded.
