Medical Colleges of Jharkhand

There are only three standard medical colleges in the entire state. The three medical colleges of Jharkhand are:

MGM Medical College: This is one of the primary medical colleges of Jharkhand which is affiliated to Ranchi University. It is located on Dimna Road, Jamshedpur. Patliputra Medical College: This medical college is located at Dhanbad. It is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave University. There are 50 seats in this college for MBBS course.

Apart from these three, there is an ayurvedic college in Jharkhand called Surya Mukhi Dinesh Ayurved Medical College and Hospital. This one is affiliated to Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University, Darbhanga. There are 40 seats in this college that offers courses in Ayurveda.
