A successful Civil Servant, an eloquent author, and a renowned Parliamentarian, Shri T. N. Chaturvedi now adorns the chair of Governor of Karnataka. Hailing from Uttar Pradesh, Shri T.N. Chaturvedi is known to be a very honest and efficient officer who has served India with utmost dedication and devotion.

Born on 18th of January in the year of 1928, Shri T. N.Chaturvedi has always been a bright student through out his academic career. His Excellency Shri T. N. Chaturvedi had his schooling from A. K. K. High School Tirwa. Thereafter, he pursued further studies from the Christ Church College of Kanpur and came out with flying colors.

Being an enthusiastic learner and ardent reader, Shri T. N. Chaturvedi joined the post prestigious administrative or Civil Service of India at a very young age where his revolutionary perspective promptly brought him to the limelight. Through out his career as a Civil Servant, he had worked in almost all the departments. However, his active and enthusiastic personality made him to join politics in the year 1992 when he was elected as member of the Rajya Sabha.

During his tenure as a member of the Rajya Sabha, Shri T. N.Chaturvedi functioned in several notable departments like the Public Accounts Committee, Committee on External Affairs, Committee on Official Languages, Joint Parliamentary Committee and Committee on Finance.

Apart from being a noted civil Servant and Politician, honorable Shri T. N. Chaturvedi is a famous writer who authored several books on Public Administration.

All his talents were crowned when Shri. T.N.Chaturvedi assumed the responsibility of the Governor of Karnataka. Under the able guidance of such a versatile man, Karnataka was progress in leaps and bounds in the near future.
