- Tipu's Summer Fort and Palace - This Karnataka fort and palace gives out grandeur of the Mughal period; the Mughal kings and their lifestyle. Tipu's Summer Fort and Palace reflects the Indo-Islamic style.
- Bangalore Palace - Bangalore Palace was built in the Tudor style following the Windsor castle in London. The palace possesses Gothic windows, fortified towers, arches, battlements and turreted parapets.; that is to say that the palace is an extension of the Gothic style in Karnataka.
- City Palace and Museum- The palace, located at Mirza Road, is open for tourists from 10 am to 5.30 pm. It is noteworthy that one cannot wear his shoes inside the palace and one cannot also carry cameras inside the palace.
The palace, one of the largest palaces in India, was the residence of the Wodeyar Maharajahs.
- Jaganmohan Palace- Built in 1861 by Maharajah Krishnaraja Wodeyar, this is the oldest building of Karnataka.
- Lalitha Mahal Palace- The twin storey palace was commissioned by Maharajah Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV. The palace was designed by EW Fritchley; this building was modeled after Saint Paul's Cathedral in London.
