Virupaksha Temple Pattadakal

The Virupaksha Temple, Pattadakal was built by Lokeswari Devi who is one of the queens of the great king Vikramaditya II. She built this temple when king Vikramaditya got victory against the Pallavas of Kanchi. This temple is facing the east side towards the Malaprabha river.
The Virupaksha Temple of Pattadakal is a different temple which allures a large number of visitors and devotees every year.
