Travel to Khandala is well supported by top standard transportation infrastructure of the area. The Khandala transportation system is one of the best in the region with excellent road, air and railway networks.
Although, Khandala does not have an airport of its own, the Pune Airport is not far away from the place. Regular flights land in the airport from all parts of the country and visitors can avail any means of road transportation from there to reach Khandala, quickly and conveniently. One can also hire taxi or bus from Mumbai or Pune to reach Khandala by road.
Frequent trains ply between Mumbai and Pune and Lonavala is one of the major stations of this route. From Lonavala it does not take long to reach Khandala. Some of the trains stop at the Khandala station also.
