Festivals of Kovalam

Kovalam, like its state Kerala, is a colorful place and it is manifested in all the facets of their lives. The festivals of Kovalam not only reflect the tradition and culture of the place but also the free spirit and warm nature of the native people. Festivals in Kovalam are celebrated with much pomp and splendor and it is the perfect opportunity for the tourists to mix with the native people and appreciate their culture.

There are a number of Kovalam festivals. Besides the general ones, a special festival is held by the Village temple of Kovalam in the months of January, February and March.
