Madurai Engineering Colleges

The Madurai Engineering Colleges are the nurseries for budding engineers of the city. Attracted by excellent facilities provided by the engineering colleges of Madurai, students from all corners of the state and country vie for getting admission in these colleges.

The KLN College of Engineering and the Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology are two of the famous engineering colleges in Madurai. The Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology began in the year 1998 with the objective of educating the rural and urban students with modern technical knowledge. Situated on a sprawling campus, the college provides facilities like boys and girls hostels, canteens, STD booths, health center, water plant, bank counter etc. within the college campus.

The KLN College of Engineering of Madurai is affiliated to the Anna University of the state and approved by All India Council of Technical Education. Founded in 1994, the KLN College of Engineering provides facilities like updated library, computer center, modern workshop, well-equipped laboratories etc. The college provides separate hostels for girls and boys. It also arranges transportation facilities for students and staff at subsidized rates. The college arranges different activities like sports, music clubs and excursions for the recreation of the students.
